Not sure you can do it? Have you never done this before? Stay calm! The instructions guide you through the entire process step by step. We designed the installation so that you can easily get through every phase. No stress. No risk.
Thoroughly clean the selected component with BodyShield Cleaner and a microfiber cloth, then spray it generously with BodyShield Installer gel. Peel the film from the backing material, spray the back of the film with gel and place it on the wet surface. Align it and carefully smooth the film with the squeegee from the center outward to remove the gel – without applying strong pressure. Carefully clean the covered element with the cloth and BodyShield Cleaner and remove excess gel. After installation, do not wash the film for 3–4 days. The final result will be visible after 48 to 64 hours.

FAQ – BodyShield Lackschutzfolien (TPU)
Was ist BodyShield?
BodyShield ist eine hochtransparente TPU-Lackschutzfolie für exponierte Außenbereiche (z. B. Motorhaube, Stoßstange, Einstiegsleisten, Türgriffmulden, A-/B-/C-Säulen, Ladekante, Scheinwerfer). Sie schützt vor Steinschlägen, Kratzern, UV, Witterung und Straßenschmutz – nahezu unsichtbar.
Welches Material wird verwendet und warum TPU?
Wir nutzen thermoplastisches Polyurethan (TPU). TPU ist elastischer, langlebiger und vergilbungsresistenter als typische PVC-Folien, schmiegt sich Rundungen sauber an, bleibt über Jahre klar und bietet robusten Aufprallschutz.
Kann ich BodyShield selbst montieren?
Ja. Jedes Set ist fahrzeugspezifisch vorgeschnitten. Mit beiliegender Anleitung, Rakel und Reinigungstuch gelingt die Montage auch ohne Spezialkenntnisse. Bitte die Anleitung genau befolgen.
Wie lange hält BodyShield?
Die TPU-Folie ist auf eine Lebensdauer von über 5 Jahren ausgelegt. Sie bleibt transparent und flexibel – selbst bei UV-Einstrahlung, Temperaturschwankungen und häufiger Fahrzeugwäsche.
Kann die Folie wieder entfernt werden?
Ja. BodyShield lässt sich rückstandsfrei entfernen. Folie behutsam erwärmen (zum Anlösen) und langsam in Etappen abziehen – der Originallack bleibt unversehrt.
Wie pflege ich die Folie richtig?
Mit pH-neutralem Shampoo und weichem Mikrofasertuch waschen. Vermeide abrasive Polituren, Wachse oder Schleifpasten auf der Folie. Nach der Montage 24–48 Stunden keine Hochdruckwäsche/Hitze.
Ist die Folie sichtbar oder beeinträchtigt sie Sensoren/Kameras?
Die Folie ist hochtransparent und bewahrt den OEM-Look (Glanz oder Matt). Wir folieren nur lackierte Flächen; Sensor-/Kamerabereiche bleiben frei und funktionieren uneingeschränkt.
Was tun bei kleinen Blasen nach der Montage?
Kleine Feuchtigkeit/Mikroblasen verschwinden meist nach 24–48 Stunden. Hartnäckige Taschen mit der Rakel sanft zur Kante ausstreichen. Gründliche Vorreinigung verhindert Staubeinschlüsse.
Wie schützt BodyShield die Motorhaube?
Die Motorhaubenfolie schützt den stark beanspruchten Frontbereich vor Steinschlägen und Insektenrückständen – ideal für Autobahnfahrten, dabei nahezu unsichtbar.
Ist die Folie flexibel genug für Stoßstangen und Rundungen?
Ja. TPU ist sehr flexibel und ideal für runde/gebogene Flächen. Unsere vorgeschnittenen Stoßstangen-Kits passen faltenfrei, wenn korrekt montiert.
Sind Scheinwerferfolien legal und lichtdurchlässig?
Ja. Transparente TPU-Scheinwerferfolien mindern die Lichtleistung nicht. Sie schützen empfindliche Polycarbonat-Gläser vor Steinschlag und Vergilbung – bei klarer Optik.
Wie schützen Einstiegsleistenfolien den Lack?
Einstiegsleistenfolien verhindern Kratzer/Schürfungen durch Schuhe, Schmutz und kleine Steine beim Ein-/Aussteigen – besonders sinnvoll bei SUVs und Familienautos.
Wie funktionieren Folien für Türgriffmulden?
Passgenaue TPU-Einleger schützen die Mulden vor Kratzern durch Fingernägel/Ringe. Dezent, langlebig und schnell verklebt.
Welche Bereiche decken A-, B- und C-Säulenfolien ab?
Sie schützen die hochglänzenden, lackierten Türrahmen-/Säulenbereiche, die durch häufige Nutzung, Waschanlagen und Witterung besonders kratzanfällig sind.
