What is the difference between a matte and a clear screen protector?
The clear screen protector reliably protects your display from scratches and preserves the original shine and color brilliance.
The matte film offers the same protection, and also reduces reflections and fingerprints – for better readability in sunlight .
Both versions are scratch-resistant , fit perfectly and do not impair the touch function .

How do I choose the right film for my car?
Each product description includes the model and year of manufacture . Choose the film that fits your vehicle. If your model is not listed, you can order a custom-made film .
Can I have a foil custom-made?
Yes. If you can't find a suitable option, we'll custom-make a screen protector . Send us the exact screen dimensions or a photo – we'll cut it to size.
What do I do if the foil doesn't fit perfectly?
Send us a photo of the screen protector applied , along with the model and year of manufacture , to info@grizzprotector.com . We will quickly find a solution or replacement.
How do I apply the screen protector correctly?
- Clean the display thoroughly (cloth/alcohol pad).
- Peel off the middle protective layer (START) .
- Align the foil precisely, place it in the center and smooth it outwards.
- Peel off the top protective layer (FINISH) , push out air bubbles with a squeegee.
Dust under the foil? Use DustStix to lift and remove particles.
Does the film affect the touch function or brightness?
No. Both versions are ultra-thin and retain full touch sensitivity . Matte films may slightly reduce the perceived brightness – but they also reduce glare .
Can the film be removed without leaving any residue?
Yes, GrizzProtector films can be removed without leaving any residue . No adhesive residue on the screen.
Can I reuse the foil multiple times?
No. The films are designed for single use . After removal, dust/fingerprints can impair the adhesive side.
How long does a screen protector last?
With normal use, the film typically lasts for several years . It is scratch-resistant, UV-resistant, and temperature-resistant – even in summer.
How do I care for my display after installation?
A slightly damp microfiber cloth is sufficient. Harsh cleaners are not necessary – the protective layer does the work.
Do I need any tools for assembly?
No. The screen protector is easy to install using the included accessories. Thoroughly clean the screen, remove the protective layer, and carefully apply the protector according to the enclosed instructions. Installation only takes a few minutes.
How do I remove bubbles after application?
If air bubbles are visible after installation (typically shortly after application), simply press them gently out towards the edge with a squeegee or microfiber cloth – as described in the installation instructions.
Will every film fit every car model?
Not every film fits every navigation system or screen. Grizz films are designed and cut with precision for each model .

Why does the screen get scratched despite careful use?
Even with careful handling, micro-scratches will appear over time. This is caused by fine dust and sand particles that act like sandpaper when tapping or swiping. Fingernails, jewelry, keys , or other objects can also touch the screen unnoticed and leave marks.
