Scratch protection with deep effect
Thanks to its flexible structure, the PianoSkin film evens out fine scratches and makes them invisible. At the same time, it protects delicate surfaces from new scratches, fingerprints, and dirt. The PianoSkin surfaces thus remain permanently clean, well-kept, and like new.
Preparation before installation
✅Turn off the engine.
✅Thoroughly vacuum the vehicle interior and remove dust.
✅The ideal room temperature for installation is about 20 °C.
✅Clean the surface thoroughly with a microfiber cloth.

What is PianoSkin and what is it for?
PianoSkin is a precisely fitting protective film for sensitive interior surfaces – e.g., center console, trim strips, or "piano black" surfaces. It protects against micro-scratches and maintains the desired look (glossy, matte, or as a design variant).
Gloss, matte, velour, black, carbon or dynamic – what are the differences?
Gloss: Rich OEM high-gloss finish with "depth". Emphasizes lines – fingerprints are more visible, but can be easily wiped off.
Matte finish: Elegant, low-reflection look. Fewer fingerprints and glare, pleasant feel.
Velur: Design variant with a soft and velvety surface and glare, pleasant feel.
Black: Elegant deep black, available in matte or glossy finish.
Carbon: Sporty character with modern sophistication, available in matte or glossy finishes.
Dynamic: Design variant with a modern, stylish appearance and special optical depth – ideal for an exclusive interior look.
Does PianoSkin permanently alter the original surface?
No. PianoSkin is applied and, if necessary, removed without leaving any residue . The original surface remains intact – only the protection and the desired appearance are added.
Do I need any tools for assembly?
No, installation is possible with the included accessories . Thoroughly clean the surface, align the film precisely, and apply it according to the instructions. Installation only takes a few minutes.
How do I remove air bubbles after application?
Small bubbles are normal after installation. Gently push them out towards the edge using a squeegee or a microfiber cloth . You can prevent dust inclusions by thoroughly cleaning the surface before application.
Does every PianoSkin film fit every vehicle?
No. Our kits are designed specifically for each vehicle . Check the make, model, and year (e.g., Audi A3 8Y FL 2024–2025). This is the only way to ensure a perfect fit without any overlap.
Does the film affect switches, touch surfaces, or gap dimensions?
No. The cutouts are designed so that operating elements remain unobstructed . Gaps are not "smeared" – the film lies flat and remains thin.
Is the film reusable?
No. PianoSkin is designed for single application . After removal, the adhesive side may be affected by dust/fibers.
How long does PianoSkin last?
This depends on usage and wear. The film reliably protects against micro-scratches and abrasion . For more visible signs of wear, you can simply replace it – the original surface remains protected.
How do I care for the foiled surface?
Use a microfiber cloth (dry or slightly damp). Harsh cleaners are not necessary. For glossy surfaces, we recommend gentle plastic care products; for matte surfaces, please avoid wax-based polishes.
